Web Hosting provides everything you need to run a website, including space for your website files, databases, FTP access, and email accounts. Email Hosting focuses solely on professional email services with mailbox storage, webmail access, and support for mail clients.

Yes! Email Hosting is perfect if you only need professional email addresses without hosting a website.

In Email Hosting, the total storage is shared across all your mailboxes. For example, with 10 GB total, you can divide it however you want among your email accounts.

In Web Hosting, storage is split between your website files (webspace) and your email mailboxes.

Each package sets a maximum number of mailboxes you can create. For example, the Email Pro package allows up to 10 mailboxes sharing the total storage.

Each hosting package includes a set amount of Email Storage (for example, 2GB on the Starter package). This is the total space shared between all your mailboxes. If you create 2 mailboxes, they’ll share the 2GB. If you create 4 mailboxes, they’ll still share the same 2GB.

Your total email storage is shared, so if one mailbox is large, it leaves less room for the others. You can manage this by setting mailbox size limits (we’ll help you if needed).

Yes. For example, on the Starter plan you can create up to 4 mailboxes, but you’re free to use just 1 or 2 if that’s all you need.

You can upgrade to a higher hosting package with more email storage, or add extra storage to your current plan.

You’ll receive a warning before your storage limit is reached. You can either upgrade your package or purchase additional storage at R25 per GB per month.
